He has been in charge of game server / client development at Gargamel.com a game portal subsidiary of Hanbitsoft Co., Ltd. as well as at Freecal. He went on to work at SK Telecom and developed their SMS billing system. At LG MC Labs he developed a feature phone SNS client and has worked on a variety of projects beyond gaming.

Established Hanbitsoft, and was responsible for the distribution of the PC package game, StarCraft, in Korea. Hanbitsoft, a gaming company, rapidly grew and listed on the KOSDAQ. He has had a great deal of influence on Korea's PC room culture.
He has contributed greatly to the growth of Korean games and E-sports games by serving as the CEO of HanbitSoft, Chairman of B&M Holdings, Chairman of Korea Game Industry Association, President of Korea E-Sports Association, and President of Korea Pro-Game Association.
Currently, he is consulting HanbitSoft on the advancement of a platform that utilizes blockchain with the game item market. A project that B&M Holdings has been considering for some time.
